I adopted a really cool, cute kitty named Sophia. It was a great month.
I have several friends that are really struggling right now with health issues. This month has been especially brutal for my friend, Mindi, who is coping with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. She truly has been through the ringer this month, and it’s been such a roller coaster ride for her family and friends! If anything, her can do attitude and determination to beat this cancer, remind me of how very lucky I am to be healthy and to have a healthy family. There are so many things that we can’t control, that we owe it to ourselves to make the best of the things we can control! I’m keeping that in mind as we speak!
My brother is visiting this week from Boston. Since my family is all on the East coast I am grateful I can hang out with him for a few days.
I am grateful to Dr Paez… partner in crime for his continued support. It’s been a great month and we have been able to help a lot of people get well and provide tols so they can stay well.
Found a bunch of audiobooks I wanted at the Carlsbad library! I don’t have as much time to read anymore, but I can drive and do chores to audiobooks. I’m grateful to the library for beefing up their digital selection.
I am grateful to my sister, who signs me up for some CRAZY things (e.g. the All Day 25K at the Carlsbad 5000), but I am always happy about it afterwards. I’m also grateful that she has given me this opportunity to guest post on her blog. I often take for granted all the wonderful people I have in my life. It was a great way to take time and think about all the things that I have to be thankful for.
