All of my friends are friends from college or high school, so we knew each other when we were young and far less cynical. Most of us remain inherently optimistic, both personally and towards humanity as a whole.
We are socially liberal, non-religious, non-agressive, non-competitive, value education and intellect, and tend to be voracious readers. Most of us play and enjoy games of various sorts.
Although we are not crusaders, my friends would genuinely like to see humanity thrive to its scientific and intellectual potential.
Wow Dan! That’s beautiful! How do I top that??? :*)
My friends tell good stories. We love to laugh together. We discuss animatedly how we would do things right if we were in charge of everything, but I don’t think any of us really want to be in charge of everything. We may not talk every day, but when we do, we just pick up where we left off. We see how far we’ve come. They inspire me.
